October is Cyber Security Awareness Month in Canada

Fight phishing: Ruin a cyber criminal’s day

Cyber criminals spend their days trying to trick us into giving up our personal information, tamper with our devices and even steal our identities. When cyber attacks like phishing are successful, they can ruin our days, to put it lightly. That’s why, this Cyber Security Awareness Month, we’re encouraging Canadians to ruin a cyber criminal’s day.

This October, we can learn more about spotting phishing messages, and take simple steps to protect ourselves from phishing. Let’s help make phishing scams less appealing to criminals— and that just might ruin their day.

Learn on our Cyber Month theme page on how we’re helping Canadians fight phishing and ruining a cyber criminal’s day.
